Agnes Leung is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator and has been practicing in the litigation support and business valuation area for nearly five years.
Agnes has lived and worked in Edmonton since graduating from the University of Alberta in 1992 with a B Comm. She then articled to be a Chartered Accountant with a national CA firm and was also an independent contractor for a local firm, obtaining her CA in 1997. She then joined Ernst & Young working in the area of accounting, assurance and business advisory before concentrating her practice in business valuation and litigation support. At Ernst & Young Corporate Finance, Agnes valued and assisted in the valuation of a variety of privately owned business for income tax, matrimonial property settlement and shareholder buy/sell purposes. In 2003, she had her own practice, supporting various clients with their accounting systems and year-end work. In 2004 and 2005 she gained exposure in other areas of litigation support such as personal injury calculations while working at Gardiner Karbani Audy Inc. Prior to joining McNally Valuations, Agnes gained valuable experience in the health industry providing financial analysis and budget controls and maintenance for two major regional programs for the local health authority with budgets over $50 million combined.
Besides being a dedicated soccer mum, Agnes finds time to serve at her local church in various capacities including being a pianist, a member of the Board as well as chairing different committees. Agnes is also a director of the Board of the Canadian Convention of Southern Baptists Foundation (2003- current).
