Bob McNally is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator and has been practicing in the litigation support and business valuation area for the past ten years.
Bob practices exclusively in the areas of litigation support and business valuation. He has appeared as an expert witness at Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta on numerous occasions as well as other tribunals including Municipal Government Board and Land Compensation Board. Bob has been recognized by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants as a valuation specialist and is allowed to use the specialist designation CA•CBV.
Bob has lived and worked in Edmonton since graduating from the University of Alberta in 1974 with an MBA. He obtained his BA with Economics Major from the University of Calgary in 1972. He then articled to be a Chartered Accountant with a national CA firm and obtained his CA in 1976. He specialized in tax for the next 18 years, including ten years as partner with the Edmonton office of Deloitte & Touche. Bob left Deloitte in early 1999 after obtaining his Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation. He first spent two years with a local CA firm establishing a business valuation and litigation support practice before establishing his own firm in early 2002.
Active in the community, Bob has served on the Boards of Directors of Edmonton Opera (Treasurer and currently Chair), Elizabeth Fry Society (Treasurer and Chair), Edmonton Native Alliance (Treasurer), Edmonton Keyano Swim Club (Treasurer), United Way (Section Chair and Account Executive), Alberta Ballet (Director), Personal Development Centre (Treasurer), YMCA of Edmonton and Area (Member of Audit Committee), Beat Beethoven Run for Edmonton Symphony (Chair) and Canadian Tax Foundation (Director).
