Chris has been in the valuation industry since 1998. In 2005, he was awarded membership in the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators, which carries the Canadian Business Valuator (CBV) designation.  He achieved the senior designation, Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (AACI), from the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 2002.  In addition, he completed two of four Machinery and Equipment Valuation Courses through the American Society of Appraisers and the Marshall and Swift Cost Estimating Series.  

Chris joined McNally Valuations Inc. in 2003 and became a partner in 2004. He has been involved in the valuation of a range of assets and operations across many industries. He has also performed specialized valuations; Fairness Opinions, Goodwill Impairments Tests and Purchase Price Allocations for large private and publicly traded firms. 

Working at Suncorp Valuations Ltd. (1998-2003), Chris was involved in a broad spectrum of real estate valuation and consulting activities.  His specific area of expertise included the valuation of large industrial and commercial properties, multi-family dwelling projects, residential housing, and small businesses. He was also active in consulting on the replacement cost of industrial, commercial, and multi-family buildings for insurance purposes, and assisted in the valuation of machinery and other equipment assets. 

Chris has also been active in community and professional associations. He was on the Professional Development Committee, including the chair position in 2002, of the provincial association of the Appraisal Institute of Canada.  He was on his local community association and an Advisor for the Junior Achievement Program. Recently, he has volunteered to assist community organizations in developing a strategic business plan and consulting on a potential real estate related decision.
