McNally Valuations - Bob McNally of McNally Valuations provided expert testimony before the Land Compensation Board in February 2004 regarding the impact on the value of the Sands Hotel in Edmonton due to the construction of a major highway interchange. The testimony was in support of a valuation of the hotel at two dates (two years apart) and assessing the impact on value the new interchange had while taking into consideration the economic factors of the time. The decision by the Land Compensation Board in August 2004 found in favor of the Sands Hotel and awarded damages of approximately $3.8 million.
